　　16分樣板作文——“內(nèi)容切題，包括提綱的全部要點，言之有物，表達基本清楚，文字連貫，句式變化較多，結構和用詞有少量的一般性錯誤，文章的長度符合要求”。

　　12分樣板作文——“內(nèi)容切題，包括提綱的全部要點，表達基本清楚，但結構和用詞錯誤較多，有少數(shù)是嚴重錯誤，文章的長度符合要求”。這里的“嚴重錯誤”一般指的是搭配關系出錯，比如“start on”被錯寫成“start with”。

　　8分樣板作文——“內(nèi)容切題，包括提綱中所列的要點，表達尚可理解，但結構和用詞錯誤多，有些是嚴重錯誤。文章的長度基本符合要求”。比如要求寫200個字，只寫了190字，就叫做“長度基本符合要求”。

　　4分樣板作文——“短文和題意勉強有關，但條理不清，篇章結構不完整，語句錯誤多，且多為嚴重錯誤——詞不達意”。

　　2分樣板作文——“條理不清，詞不達意;語句錯誤都為嚴懲錯誤，字數(shù)不足”。

　　在正式樣閱卷的'時候，閱卷老師用這些“樣板作文”當作評分的參照。比如，老師審閱了你的作文，然后和“樣板作文”進行對照，感覺你的作文基本相當于8分的樣板作文，但是又覺得好像比8分的樣板作文好一點，那最后就給你9分。如果覺得比8分的樣板作文差一點，那最后就給7分，只是有這樣一個上下的浮動。

As a result, they may find it hard to adjust to what the college expects from them as well as their employers’ expectation, and finally, they may fall behind or fail in their studies.
