春節(jié)，是農(nóng)歷的歲首，春節(jié)的另一名稱叫過年，是中國(guó)最盛大、最熱鬧、最重要的一個(gè)古老傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，也是中國(guó)人所獨(dú)有的節(jié)日。是中華文明最集中的表現(xiàn)。自西漢以來，春節(jié)的習(xí)俗一直延續(xù)到今天。春節(jié)一般指除夕和正月初一。但在民間，傳統(tǒng)意義上的春節(jié)是指從臘月初八的臘祭或臘月二十三或二十四的祭灶，一直到正月十五，其中以除夕和正月初一為高潮。如何過慶賀這個(gè)節(jié)日，在千百年的歷史發(fā)展中，形成了一些較為固定的風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣，有許多還相傳至今。在春節(jié)這一傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日期間，我國(guó)的漢族和大多數(shù)少數(shù)民族都有要舉行各種慶祝活動(dòng)，這些活動(dòng)大多以祭祀神佛、祭奠祖先、除舊布新、迎禧接福、祈求豐年為主要內(nèi)容�；顒�(dòng)形式豐富多彩，帶有濃郁的民族特色。 春節(jié)的來歷有一種傳說，中國(guó)古時(shí)候有一種叫“年”的怪獸，頭長(zhǎng)觸角，兇猛異常。“年”長(zhǎng)年深居海底，每到除夕才爬上岸，吞食牲畜傷害人命。因此，每到除夕這天，村村寨寨的人們扶老攜幼逃往深山，以躲避“年”獸的傷害。有一年除夕，從村外來了個(gè)乞討的老人。鄉(xiāng)親們一片匆忙恐慌景象，只有村東頭一位老婆婆給了老人些食物，并勸他快上山躲避“年”獸，那老人笑道：“婆婆若讓我在家呆一夜，我一
定把?年?獸攆走�！崩掀牌湃匀焕^續(xù)勸說，乞討老人笑而不語。 半夜時(shí)分，“年”獸闖進(jìn)村。它發(fā)現(xiàn)村里氣氛與往年不同：村東頭老婆婆家，門貼大紅紙，屋內(nèi)燭火通明�！澳辍鲍F渾身一抖，怪叫了一聲。將近門口時(shí)，院內(nèi)突然傳來“砰砰啪啪”的炸響聲，“年”渾身戰(zhàn)栗，再不敢往前湊了。原來，“年”最怕紅色、火光和炸響。這時(shí)，婆婆的家門大開，只見院內(nèi)一位身披紅袍的老人在哈哈大笑�！澳辍贝篌@失色，狼狽逃躥了。第二天是正月初一，避難回來的人們見村里安然無恙十分驚奇。這時(shí)，老婆婆才恍然大悟，趕忙向鄉(xiāng)親們述說了乞討老人的許諾。這件事很快在周圍村里傳開了，人們都知道了驅(qū)趕“年”獸的辦法。從此每年除夕，家家貼紅對(duì)聯(lián)、燃放爆竹；戶戶燭火通明、守更待歲。初一一大早，還要走親串友道喜問好。這風(fēng)俗越傳越廣，成了中國(guó)民間最隆重的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日。
二、春節(jié)的習(xí)俗
1、臘月二十三 祭灶
我國(guó)春節(jié)，一般是從祭灶揭開序幕的。祭灶，是一項(xiàng)在我國(guó)民間影響很大、流傳極廣的習(xí)俗。舊時(shí)，差不多家家灶間都設(shè)有“灶王爺”神位。
2、臘月二十四 掃塵
“臘月二十四，撣塵掃房子” ，據(jù)《呂氏春秋》記載，我國(guó)在堯舜時(shí)代就有春節(jié)掃塵的風(fēng)俗。按民間的說法：因“塵”與“陳”諧音，新春掃塵有“除陳布新”的涵義，其用意是要把一切窮運(yùn)、晦氣統(tǒng)統(tǒng)掃出門。這一習(xí)俗寄托著人們破舊立新的愿望和辭舊迎新的祈求。 每逢春節(jié)來臨，家家戶戶都要打掃環(huán)境，清洗各種器具，拆洗被褥窗簾，灑掃
六閭庭院，撣拂塵垢蛛網(wǎng)，疏浚明渠暗溝。到處洋溢著歡歡喜喜搞衛(wèi)生、干干凈凈迎新春的歡樂氣氛。
3、臘月二十五 接玉皇
舊俗認(rèn)為灶神上天后，天帝玉皇于農(nóng)歷十二月二十五日親自下界,查察人間善惡，并定來年禍福，所以家家祭之以祈福，稱為“接玉皇”。這一天起居、言語都要謹(jǐn)慎，爭(zhēng)取好表現(xiàn)，以博取玉皇歡心，降福來年。
4、臘月二十七、二十八 洗浴
傳統(tǒng)民俗中在這兩天要集中地洗澡、洗衣，除去一年的晦氣，準(zhǔn)備迎接來年的新春，京城有"二十七洗疚疾，二十八洗邋遢"的諺語。臘月二十六洗浴為“洗福祿”。
5、臘月三十除夕 貼門神、貼春聯(lián)、守歲、爆竹、吃年夜飯、給壓歲錢、祭祖
除夕的意思是“月窮歲盡”，人們都要除舊部新，有舊歲至此而除，來年另換新歲的意思，是農(nóng)歷全年最后的一個(gè)晚上。故此期間的活動(dòng)都圍繞著除舊部新，消災(zāi)祈福為中心。
春聯(lián)、貼福字、貼窗花、貼年畫、貼掛千。這些都具有祈福、裝點(diǎn)居所的民俗功能。反映了人民大眾的風(fēng)俗和信仰，寄托著人們對(duì)未來的希望。
守歲，我國(guó)民間在除夕有守歲的習(xí)慣，俗名“熬年”。守歲從吃年夜飯開始，這頓年夜飯要慢慢地吃，從掌燈時(shí)分入席，有的人家一直要吃到深夜。守歲的習(xí)俗，既有對(duì)如水逝去的歲月含惜別留戀之情，又有
對(duì)來臨的新年寄以美好希望之意。
爆竹，中國(guó)民間有“開門爆竹”一說。即在新的一年到來之際，家家戶戶開門的第一件事就是燃放爆竹，以嗶嗶叭叭的爆竹聲除舊迎新。爆竹是中國(guó)特產(chǎn)，其起源很早，至今已有兩千多年的歷史。放爆竹可以創(chuàng)造出喜慶熱鬧的氣氛，是節(jié)日的一種娛樂活動(dòng)，可以給人們帶來歡愉和吉利。王安石的《元日》詩：
爆竹聲中一歲除，
春風(fēng)送暖人屠蘇。
千門萬戶曈曈日。
總把新桃換舊符。
描繪了我國(guó)人民歡度春節(jié)盛大的喜慶情景。
在古代的農(nóng)業(yè)社會(huì)里，大約自臘月初八以后，家庭主婦們就要忙著張羅過年的`食品了。因?yàn)殡缰婆D味所需的時(shí)間較長(zhǎng)，所以必須盡早準(zhǔn)備，蒸年糕，年糕因?yàn)橹C音“年高”，再加上有著變化多端的口味，幾乎成了家家必備的應(yīng)景食品。年糕的式樣有方塊狀的黃、白年糕，象征著黃金、白銀，寄寓新年發(fā)財(cái)?shù)囊馑�。年糕的口味因地而異�?/p>
餃子，北方年夜飯有吃餃子的傳統(tǒng)，但各地吃餃子的習(xí)俗亦不相同，有的地方除夕之夜吃餃子，有的地方初一吃餃子，吃餃子是表達(dá)人們辭舊迎新之際祈福求吉愿望的特有方式。餃子就意味著更歲交子，過春節(jié)吃餃子被認(rèn)為是大吉大利。另外餃子形狀像元寶，包餃子意味著包住福運(yùn)，吃餃子象征生活富裕。
吃年夜飯，也叫團(tuán)圓夜，離家在外的游子都要不遠(yuǎn)千里萬里趕回家來
是春節(jié)家家戶戶最熱鬧愉快的時(shí)候。大年夜．豐盛的年菜擺滿一桌，圍坐桌旁，共吃團(tuán)圓飯，心頭的充實(shí)感真是難以言喻。
給壓歲錢，壓歲錢是由長(zhǎng)輩發(fā)給晚輩的，有的家里是吃完年夜飯后，人人坐在桌旁不許走，等大家都吃完了，由長(zhǎng)輩發(fā)給晚輩，并勉勵(lì)兒孫在在新的一年里學(xué)習(xí)長(zhǎng)進(jìn)，好好做人。
6、正月初一 拜年
春節(jié)早晨，開門大吉，先放爆竹，叫做“開門炮仗”。爆竹聲后，碎紅滿地，燦若云錦，稱為“滿堂紅”。這時(shí)滿街瑞氣，喜氣洋洋。 春節(jié)里的一項(xiàng)重要活動(dòng)，是到新朋好友家和鄰那里祝賀新春，舊稱拜年。新年的初一，人們都早早起來，穿上最漂亮的衣服，打扮得整整齊齊，出門去走親訪友，相互拜年，恭祝來年大吉大利。拜年的方式多種多樣，有的是同族長(zhǎng)帶領(lǐng)若干人挨家挨戶地拜年；有的是同事相邀幾個(gè)人去拜年；也有大家聚在一起相互祝賀，稱為“團(tuán)拜”。由于登門拜年費(fèi)時(shí)費(fèi)力，后來一些上層人物和士大夫便使用各貼相互投賀，由此發(fā)展出來后來的“賀年片”。春節(jié)拜年時(shí)，晚輩要先給長(zhǎng)輩拜年，祝長(zhǎng)輩人長(zhǎng)壽安康，長(zhǎng)輩可將事先準(zhǔn)備好的壓歲錢分給晚輩，據(jù)說壓歲錢可以壓住邪祟，因?yàn)椤皻q”與“祟”諧音，晚輩得到壓歲錢就可以平平安安度過一歲。
